As the Spaniard took his time, stroking his facial hair, Howl waited patiently. Was this stranger friendly? Not keeping eye contact with the wizard the man finally spoke. He told him where he could find El Dorado. He mentioned something about feet getting wet. He smiled at that comment, he wouldn’t be getting his shoes dirty anytime soon. Did he mean to lead him to the city? Is he from the city? After a moment the stranger spoke up again mentioning his name… And that he was a god? He looked like any normal mortal to Howl but he decided that it might be best to go along with it, ” I am Howl. Are you going to be escorting me to this city? That is, if you are from there?” Howl gave the stranger a friendly smile and turned in the direction that Tulio had given to him. Looking back at the man, he waited patiently for his answer as he slowly started moving toward the golden city.  

He found this proclaimed ‘god’ to be a bit suspicious considering this man was wearing a normal pair of slacks and dress shirt. Were the people of El Dorado being used for their gold? Whether they were or not he didn’t really care. He figured that when the time comes along that they find out they would probably give this man what he deserved if that was the case. He just wanted to collect some possessions and leave.
